Weston is a suburban community in , United States. Established as a city in 1996, much of the community was developed by Arvida/ and is located near the western developmental boundary of Broward County. It is the most western city in Broward County, and its entire west side is next to the . As of the , the city had a total population of 65,333. Weston is a principal city of the , which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people at the 2015 census.

In 2000, there were 16,576 households out of which 51.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.0% are married couples living together, 9.0% have a female householder with no husband present and 17.6% are non-families. 13.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.97 and the average family size is 3.29.
