  1. Describe an instance where you set your sights on a high/demanding goal and saw it through completion.

  1)请举一个你最自豪(最成功)的例子(这个问题会问那些个人经历特别丰富,自我介绍时说了一大堆自己成就的人,因为HR记不住所有,所以她会看你自己认为做得最好的事情。这个一般是第一个问题,而且最重要,因为你首先要确保你做的这个事情能打动HR,我认为打动的指标有两个:
  独一无二性【做一些别人没有做过的事情,当一百个人都说自己在学生会组织一个晚会的时候,你认为HR还会有兴趣听下去么?寻找你自己特有的新颖的例子很重要】
  成就非凡性【既然是你最自豪的,总该体现自己的能力和最后的成果吧,不要拿那种鸡毛蒜皮的小事当作自己的成就,不然会被HR鄙视的,成果一定要量化,不要说受到领导的一致好评,用数字说话,满意率达到多少,流失率降低多少,而且最好能拿出实体性的东西增加说服力,比如你当时写的报告或是设计的海报,anyway,最好有证据。】
  如果你这个问答得不好,后面就很难有戏了,因为HR已经网开一面让你show yourself,结果你没抓住机会,下面的问题会越来越不顺手,因为她可能会就着你很不想回答的问题深究下去。
  2)请举一个你带领团队完成一项任务的例子
  (这个问题是原来八大问中领导力的变形,也是宝洁最喜欢问的问题,命中率几乎100%,宝洁是最强调领导力的公司之一,这个问题也很关键。我想很多人并不了解什么是领导力,所以即使准备了也没有达到宝洁的要求。下面是我对领导力的理解,可能不一定正确,仅供参考。
  首先我想纠正一个非常错误的观点:领导就是当主席或部长。如果你是这种想法的话,那基本上你和外企的核心价值观就很远了,你可能很优秀,但是你不适合外企。首先领导力不分title,及时你是一个member,你也可以非常具备领导力。我喜欢用一个比喻来形容领导力:
  领导就好比船长,首先你要有明确的方向感,你需要知道团队的vision是什么,你要有strong sense去判断团队前进的方向,并且将这个愿景清晰地表达出来,让你的团队看到将来的blueprint;
  其次,你要懂得合理分工,尊重每个人的潜能,给所有人明确的job description with key learning points and deadline.很多人都认为领导就是分配任务,其实告诉你的队友做什么固然重要,但更重要的是告诉他们为什么要这样做,而且一定要stress the timeline,外企是强调高效的,一个项目拖拖拉拉和没做没有区别,告诉你的队友在什么时间内需要向你update the progress,需要完成任务,这样你才能保证每个“船员”都在合理的位置上perform;
  再者你需要懂得如何激励你的团队,激励的方式我总结了有6种,这里就不详细说了,每个人的性格不同,作为船长的你要激励船员,哪怕遇到再大的风浪也要朝目标前进;
  然后是对每个人给予绩效考核和反馈,make sure if they are on the right track,及时纠正错误的方向,同时指导你的船员,真正的领导是那种能够培养别人也成为领导的人;
  最后是危机处理,你的船就要触礁了,作为船长的你如何保持冷静,指挥大家度过困难,如果真的船沉了,你需要对这个事件final responsible,一个真正的领导是不会推卸责任的,你有这个义务去承担最后的风险。
  总结来看:目标-分工-激励-反馈-指导-负责 围绕这6点(注意这是有逻辑顺序的,最好不要颠倒顺序)去挖掘,你就可以向HR讲一个生动的关于领导力的故事。
  3)你遇到最大的困难是什么?你认为困难的来源是什么?你怎么解决的?
  4)举一个你在大压力下同时完成多项任务的例子(宝洁老八大问中优先性排序例子的变形)

Question 3: Why did you leave your last job? / Why are you
planning to leave your present job?

注:回答这个问题的时候切记一点,不要诋毁之前的公司或者同事,你应该多说一说对于未来的展望,而不是纠结于过去。

My last job was not challenging enough. I was not motivated
to wake up to work anymore. I liked my colleagues and boss, but I
simply can’t keep myself motivated anymore. Based on the job
description I really believe that I can find new motivation and
challenges in your company.
There was a downsizing in our company. Similarly to most

Question 5: Can you tell us something more about your working
experience?
问题5:你能不能多跟我们说说你的工作经历?
注:回答这个问题的时候,挑一些跟目前应聘的职位最相关的工作经验说一说即可。当然,如果你之前只有一个工作经验,那么,无论是否有关都得好好说一说了。

I have done lot of things in my life. It helped me to gain a
good overall understanding of business. From 2001 to 2004 I worked
as a project manager for Siemens. We were working mostly on smaller
energetic projects, water plants built on rivers. I believe that I
can utilize the knowledge and contacts I gained there in your
company. I learned how to budget the projects and lead it from the
scratch to completion and success. From my other working experience
I can mention my role of marketing manager I hold in CDE from 1998
to 2001 and my freelancing experience from 2005 to 2009. If you

I fulfill all the job requirements. However, I am sure some

I believe that I bring success with me. All the companies

注:回答这个问题的时候,千万不要说自己过几年想要创业单干。没有公司想招个人进来,过两年就辞职单干了。所以,回答的时候可以说一说个人目标,自己的职业发展目标要与公司相关。

注:成就要远比经历重要。我们每个人或多或少都有些成就,只是我们自己没有意识到罢了。面试中提到的成就可以是生活方面的,也可以是工作方面的。比如,你原来抽烟,但是后来戒了,这也可以说明你的意志力很强。

and it strengthened me both physically and mentally.
When I hold Sales Manager job at ABC Inc., the sales grew by

小结:成就不一定是指工作中的成就,当然如果是工作方面就更好,如果可以,最好用数据说话,如果没有,就用其他方面来代替。
Question 11: What characterize a good boss/ colleague from
your point of view?
问题11:你觉得,一个好老板、好同事应该是什么样的?
注:这个问题主要是看看你的情商够不够高,能不能在公司里跟大家和睦相处。回答得太具体,明确表明自己对同事的喜好,并不是一个可取的办法。最好回答得笼统一些,表明自己性格随和,跟谁都能相处愉快。

I can get along with everyone. All I want to be sure about
when it comes to my boss and colleagues is that they are qualified
for the job we do. When I see the level of proficiency in this
interview, I am sure they are.
There is nothing like an ideal boss for me. I simply focus on
my job and duties and try to avoid any conflicts with other
employees. We are all different and I respect the individuality of
each human being.

Question 12: What are your salary expectations?
问题12:你期望的薪资是多少?
注:如果不是面试官首先提出,你不要自己提薪资方面的问题。回答的时候,首先要表明薪资并不是你应聘这个职位的首要因素,如果一定要回答一个具体的数字,那么一定不要低于你心理的那个预期薪资水平。所以,面试之前还是要做功课,了解该职位的薪资水平。

First of all, salary is not a deciding factor for me. I
really like the job description and want to get this job. Therefor,
I will accept an average salary for this position what is something
between $35,000 and $40,000, according to my knowledge and
statistics .
小结:这是每个面试官都一定会问的问题!很多朋友觉得回答这个问题会很尴尬,于是不敢说出心里的预期薪资,其实没有必要。工作和恋爱一样,不能勉强,必须双方满意才能保持长久关系。如果面试官到尾声都还没有提到薪资,你就可以主动问,因为一个对自己的薪资没有期望的应聘者,面试官也不会觉得你多靠谱。
Question 13: When can you start the job?
问题13:你什么时候能到岗?
注:公司当然希望你越快到岗越好,如果你目前还没有离职,需要一段时间做工作交接,那也要说明白,并且表示你愿意尽早到岗的意愿。

I could possibly start tomorrow, but I want to finish the

A: I think that with the home office located halfway across the globe, there is a very small risk that one might not have the chance to interact with the key decision makers as often as might be ideal.
