A high iron content of the burden is a necessary term for raising productivity and lowering coke consumption. In order to obtain high-grade sinters and pellets with proper stability in composition, high iron content, lower ferrous oxide content, higher... In order to obtain high-grade sinters and pellets with proper stability in composition, high iron content, lower ferrous oxide content, higher strength, close size range and less fines, it is necessary to take efficient measures, such as fine-grinding and having it well beneficiated, improving the mixing and blending of the raw materials, choosing the proper size range of sinters, properly decreasing fuel consumption and making up good proportion of high basicity sinter and low basicity pellet, apart from careful operation and strict control of the agglomeration.
