比特币(BitCoin)的概念最初由中本聪在2009年提出，根据中本聪的思路设计发布的开源软件以及建构其上的P2P网络。比特币是一种P2P形式的数字货币。点对点的传输意味着一个去中心化的支付系统。
比特币存在于世界上亿万的电脑之中。自发行后，理论上没有任何人可以控制比特币数量，也无法通过大量制造比特币来人为操控币值。基于密码学的设计可以使比特币只能被真实的拥有者转移或支付，安全性极佳。
比特币的核心原理是&区块链&，每一个区块对应一个帐单，将所有的区块链接起来就是区块链，任何交易信息和转账记录都记录在区块链中。
每隔一个时间点，比特币系统会在系统节点上生成一个随机代码，互联网中的所有计算机都可以去寻找此代码，谁找到此代码，就会产生一个区块，随即得到一个比特币，这个过程就是人们常说的挖矿。
通俗点说，比特币好比是一座由总量为2100万个金币组成的金山，想要得到它，就需要玩家们利用电脑的运算能力，根据现有的算法计算出一组符合特定规律的数字。
我在这里说下我感受到的和我所知的区块链的演化史：
1，首先是比特币，和比特币带来的公式算法&工作证明&，也就是挖矿。
2，接着就是大量的另类币几乎占据了整个区块链研究的江山，这个时候在搞这个的基本上都是死忠的技术宅和一群希望摆脱监管的乌托邦分子。这个时候区块链还不是热词，&xx币&才是。
3，接下来学术界开始介入，拜占庭共识算法(BFT)又重新被搬出来，然而，在工业界，以太坊和智能合约这种东西又成了新一轮的宠儿。
4，也就是这几年，区块链这个东西才取代了比特币成为了新的热点。然而现在的区块链领域非常混乱，研究者，开发者，追随者和投资者说的都不是一个东西。
5，总之，比特币&&第一个区块链，公有链
6，以太坊(ETH)&&支持智能合约的区块链，公有链。
7，ETC&&以太坊硬分叉的产物，可以认为是个bug造成的以太坊分支。
8，这些在一些区块链研究者的语境和介绍中等同于区块链的东西，都是公有链，算是比特币类型的区块链的直接继承者，其实只是区块链世界中的一半。
9，而另一半叫做私有链或者联盟链，是学术界和业界根据比特币的结构抽离出来的另一种&区块链技术&，这部分，其实才是目前很多金融界和IT界的大腕们追逐的热点。
