导语：它从不打广告，不打算上市，不打算引入战略投资……与它150亿（2011年数据）销售额这一数据相比，这无疑是一家另类低调的企业。不过，这家低调企业的掌门人却是“电商教父”马云最佩服的人！
王卫：中国最神秘的富豪！
1971年，王卫出生在上海，父亲是一名空军俄语翻译，母亲是江西一所大学的老师。7岁时，王卫和家人迁往香港。高中毕业后，他不再读书，到顺德做起了印染。
上世纪九十年代初期，受邓小平南巡影响，香港8万多家制造工厂移到内地，其中珠三角就占了5万多家，香港与珠三角之间的信件、货运业务量开始暴增。一开始，王卫受人之托，在广东和香港之间夹带点儿货。慢慢地，东西越来越多，用拉杆箱也装不下的时候，他意识到这是一个商机。
日，王卫拿着跟父亲借的10万元钱，在顺德注册了顺丰速运，一个只有6个人的公司。同时，他在香港太子的砵兰街租了几十平方米的店面，专替企业运送信件到珠三角。王卫和员工们早出晚归用背包和拉杆箱运货，被称为“水货佬”。
“别人70块一件货，顺丰收40块”，王卫“割价抢滩”的策略吸引了大批客户，甚至带旺了冷清的砵兰街。
由于市场需求旺盛，顺丰很快将触角延伸到广东各地。当时，顺丰每建一个点，就注册一个新公司，分公司归当地加盟商所有，这使得顺丰在几年的时间内，便将珠三角一带的快递市场牢牢抓在自己的手上。但也因这样野蛮的增长方式，顺丰一度被业内称之为“老鼠会”。
在这样的疯狂下，到了1997年，王卫几乎垄断了所有的通港快件。据悉，当时行驶在通港公路上的快件货运车有70％属于顺丰的业务。香港回归时，海关甚至婉拒了国企中铁分一杯羹的请求。
这时的王卫，不过26岁。
飞机几十架，汽车遍全国！
随着顺丰的逐渐壮大，顺丰的货运车也越来越大，陆地似乎已经满足不了王卫的事业版图。
王卫可谓少年得志，他也曾迷失过。不过他有自己的信仰，终于找回了当初的自己。他说：“我做事业不是为了赚钱，一个人能赚钱没什么大不了的，都是因缘际会。”为了发展事业，王卫一口气包下了五架飞机，正式进入航空运输领域！
至今为止，顺丰集团下属的顺丰航空运营管理着40架运输机，占国内运输机总量的40%，庞大的业务需求，开发属于自己的航空相关公司。2009年底，民航总局宣布顺丰航空正式获准运营。顺丰航空公司一次性购买两架飞机，这也是中国民营快递企业第一次拥有自己的飞机。2010年，顺丰的一位高管透露，经济形势一好转，王卫就连连叫“后悔”，说自己保守，早知道危机这么快过去，飞机当时那么便宜，应该一口气多买几架。
作为顺丰的掌舵人，王卫非常低调。曾经有人愿意出1000万美金的佣金，只为求一个与他合作的机会。也有投资界的大鳄愿意花50万，只为和王卫吃一顿饭，都被拒绝了。马云和马化腾想见到王卫，也被婉拒！王卫一直是个神秘的存在！
王卫很少接受采访报道，也鲜少在媒体版面出现。唯一一次，王卫出现在媒体镜头前，还是王卫花3亿港币购买了香港九龙塘喇沙利道的一块地皮，自建两栋4层楼高的独立屋，附带独立泳池。这桩打破同区地产价格记录的买卖引起了《壹周刊》记者的注意。敬业的狗仔队不仅在顺丰深圳总部的写字楼前守候王卫数日，还混进顺丰香港的点部，做了一整天的快递员，收派了300多个包裹。最后，狗仔队终于拍到了王卫的照片，据说王卫还买了一辆波音757飞机。
当然王卫的成功，并不是偶然。他被称为最有钱的工作狂，一直“有尊严”的活在资本市场。9次抵押贷款却坚持不肯融资，顺丰99%的股份都在王卫和其老婆手里。
王卫拒绝了大部分的融资客，维护员工的利益。但还是无法拒绝“国家队”招商总局抛出的橄榄枝。于是王卫笑迎“国家队”，才有了这张照片。
日，上市公司鼎泰新材发布重大资产重组预案，将以全部资产及负债与顺丰控股全体股东持有的顺丰控股100%股权的等值部分进行置换，作价433亿元。顺丰控股由此实现借壳上市。这一刻，顺丰也成为国内市值最大的快递公司。
当年一个往返于深港之间普通的收派员背着沉甸甸的快件包往返于深港之间，如今他的身家为296亿元！
王卫的经历可以称得上传奇，但是成功并不是偶然。就如王卫本人所说：“我没有条条框框，一切都回归到面临什么问题，需要什么东西。有时我们学了某个框架就想套用，因为不理解设计初衷总会有不匹配。20年我一直在寻找适合的框架，最终是佛学的因果循环让我很开窍。”
马云曾经说，最佩服的人就是顺丰的总裁王卫。因为管理好一个快递企业远不是收货、发货这么简单。而王卫管理着顺丰20余万名员工的庞大快递王国。
2014年曾经有一个访谈，问王卫管理21万人的秘诀。王卫说员工要尊重，就给他尊重；要收入，就给他收入。当他月收入上万，他会要你两千的手机吗？如果有人真拿两千的手机，我会不计代价地去查，五百也往下查。人性都是趋利避害的，弄清这点，即便是40万人，也没什么难管的。王卫的“尊重”赢得了顺丰三十余万名员工的追随，这也是为什么顺丰的员工能那么尽心尽力、死心塌地的为公司干活的原因。
